Adam Carolla’s big break came in 1994, when he was hired as a trainer for Jimmy Kimmel, who was challenged to a boxing match at L.A. radio station KROQ. Kimmel then helped Carolla get a job on KROQ’s “Kevin and Bean Morning Show”. It was on KROQ that Dr. Drew Pinsky heard Carolla and liked his style.
